View.  Snack.  Engage.  Socialize.

There are a number of topics and themes we can discuss from this raw yet powerful film.  It should be a great Forum to kickoff a whole new decade!  I think we will again provide Starbucks coffee for the viewing and West Seattle’s very own super-tasty Red Star pizza during our discussion.  Bring your heart and mind to engage and discuss the message and spirituality behind Gran Torino.  Don’t miss out!

Check out trailer below and hope to see you on the 23rd @ 10:30 AM.

Seen parts of this many times while off on military assignments, but I’ve never seen it all the way through! It will be great to have the opportunity to take it all in and really contemplate it.

Hi,
I am now running a two-movie a week film series at the West Seattle Senior Center. Check it out. Most films are from the 1930’s and 1940’s and one priority is showing highly regarded and rarely seen films. Check out the new schedule for March and April in their next newsletter which will be out next week(at least online).
We can never have too many film series. I think there is an endless supply of discussion that can be attached to any great film.
I’ll be at your next movie. Maybe mapping out the series at 3 or 6 months at a time is good for people’s planning. I have enough suggestions and movies I own to fill out nine films a month for the next year at the senior center.
Good Luck,
Terry Holm
